David B. Stillman, of the town of Bovina, died early Friday morning, aged 86 years. He was a member of the Grand Army post in this city.

David B. Stillman died early this morning at the home of his son H. B. Stillman, in the town of Bovina at the age of 86 years.
Two weeks ago he fell and broke his arm, and while laid up with that he contracted a hard cold.
He was born in Mass., but lived the greater part of his early life on Long Island. He came to Wisconsin in 1857 and settled in the town of Freedom, where he lived until after the civil war when he moved to Grand Chute. He served in the Civil War and was a member of the G. A. R. post at Appleton. His wife has been dead 18 year(s) . For the past nine years he has lived with his son, H. B. Stillman in Bovina. He leaves eight children.
The funeral will be held from the house Saturday at 2 o' clock, Rev. J. W. Jordan will conduct the services.
It is expected that all his children will be present at the funeral.

Mrs. Stillman an old resident of Apple Creek died Thursday at the age of 65 years. The funeral will occur from her late residence Saturday at ten o'clock, the interment taking place at Riverside cemetery.

Mrs. Florence Stillman Hurning Koppel, died at Mountain on September 1, at the age of 71 years, 8 months and 3 days from a lingering illness.
She was born December 28, 1855 at Long Island, NY. In 1872 she was married to Wilbur Hurning in Appleton. Eight children were born of this union. Two children and husband preceded her in death.
She is mourned by three brothers, two sisters, four sons and two daughters, also other relatives and friends. The brothers are Jess Stillman of Chintonville, George Stillman of Eland and Ben Stillman of Peshtigo; the sisters are Mrs. Alice Beckwith of Fall Creek, Wis., and Mrs. Lydia Rodgers of Marion, Wis., the sons are Oscar Hurning of Marinette, Aca Hurning of Wayside and Floyd and George both of Mountain; the daughters are Mrs. Mary Smith of Grean Bay and Mrs. Albert Bartz of Mountain.
The deceased was married to Walter Koppel five years ago. Mr. Koppel died a year ago.
The funeral was held Saturday, Seeptember 3 at the Mountain Lutheran church. M. Claude Durnam, pastor of the Union Gospel church officiated.
"Safe in the Arms of Jesus" was sung by the choir. A duet, "Watching and Waiting" was sung by Mrs. Norman Kurtz and Mrs. M. C. Durnam, the song having been a favorite of the deceased. Burial took place in Mountain.
The pallbearers were Messrs. Henry Church, John Bloomer, Carl Schabow, P. L. Haber, Ed. Hurning and Mike Hurning.
The beautiful floral offerings were carried by Misses Sylvia Bartz, Elsiee Smith and Mildred Hurning.
Out of town ppeople who attended the funereal were Mrs L. A. Hurning and son Ralph of Seymour; Mrs Mary Smith and daughter Elsie, of Green Bay, Oscar Hurning, son Irvin and daughter Mildred of Marinette; George Stillman of Eland; Mrs Lydia Rodgers of Marion; Aca Hurning of Wayside; Robert Stillman of Chiltonville; Ed Hurning of Kelly Lake and Mike Hurning of Advance.

They moved to Eland with their family 21 years ago and have since conducted the farm in the village. Besides the widow he is survived by seven children, Mrs. May Gaibosh, and Mrs. Ella Rau, Cudahy, Edward Stillman, Milwaukee, Mrs. G. H. Rutzky, Dorchester, David Stillman, Prairie de Sau, and Reuben and Oris Stillman, Eland.

Mrs. Mary Stillman, 72, passed away at the Langlade hospital at Oconto, yesterday following a lingering illness. The funeral rites will be held at the Kopitke funeral home at Birnamwood Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the Forest cemetery.
Mrs. Stillman is survived by four sons, David of Prairie de Sac, Edward and Reuben of Milwaukee, and Orie of Eland with whom she had made her home. There are three married daughters, one brother, and five sisters, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The deceased was born August 9, 1869, in the town of Grant, and was married to George Stillman, October 8, 1886.

Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. George Stillman, 72, Eland, who died at Langlade Memorial hospital in Antigo Tuesday evening at 6 o'clock following a lingering illness, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Kopitzke funeral home in Birnamwood, the Rev. O. R. Osman, Waupaca, officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Home cemetery at Birnamwood.
Mrs Stillman, the former Mary Baird, was born August 9, 1869, in Liberty and lived in Eland the past 24 years. Mr. Stillman died in 1940. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Louis Gaidosh and Mrs. Frank Rau, Cudahy, and Mrs. G. H. Rutzky, Dorchester; four sons, David Stillman, Prairie de Sac, Edward and Reuben Stillman, Milwaukee, and Orrie Stillman at home; five sisters, Mrs Chris Vils, Kaukauna, Mrs. David Reu, residing on a farm near Wausau, Miss Harriet Baird, Eland, Mrs. Henry Meyer, Birnamwood, and Mrs. Ben Barker, Shawano; a brother Charles Baird, Alberta, Can.; 12 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

She lived for 3 or 4 days and then died. Irene who was 2 years old at the time, remembers screaming when Edna caught fire. Mary was out hanging clothes on the line when it happened.
