An Aged Citizen Passed Away.
After a lingereing illness of many months, Mr. Truman Culver of King City passed away last Sunday forenoon. Then did the end of life's road come to a man well known and respected in Andrew county where he had lived many years, and also well and favorably known in King City, where he had made his home the past several years and with his wife lived a quiet and retired life.
Mr. Culver had been very industrious and had laid up a competency to sustain himself and wife in the declining years of life. He has now passed to the beyond.

Husband's NotesObituary in newspaper.
Erickson - At the Edmonds Hospital, Edmonds, Washington, Feb. 2, 1932; Elder Afred Erickson. Aged 78 years.
Alfred Erickson was born in Luleo (Lulea), in the northern part of Sweden, on October 23d, 1853. He was married to Miss Anna Lovisa Vickstein 56 years ago. After four years in the homeland the little family left for America, settling first in Kansas, and later, moving westward through Colorado, Idaho, and Oregon to their final home in Edmonds, Wash.
Elder Erickson was a devout Christian from early youth. Originally a Lutheran, in this country he became affliated first with the Baptist, and later with the Advent Christian communions. He did some preaching for the Baptist Church and was ordained a minister of the Advent Christian Church at Mann's Creek, Idaho. He held a pastorship at Nampa. Ida., and was widely known as a preacher of righteousness at conventions, camp meetings, and protracted meetings in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. For a number of years he was active in the church at Colton, Oregon, and about three years ago he became a loyal and devoted member of the Advent Christian Church in Seattle. He was a member of the Willamette Valley Advent Christian Conference and of the Advent Christian Mutual Association at the time of his death.
A severe cough had fastened upon our brother in the late summer. More recently an attack of the influenza had sapped his strength. The ultimate cause of death was chrinoc Myocarditis. He was tenderly cared for at the home until the day before the end, when on account of the sickness of the beloved wife and little granddaughter, he was removed to the hospital. The end came quietly and he rests in peace. He fought a good fight and has finished his course and will receive the promised crown.
Besides his faithful wife, he leaves four daughters and two sons; Mrs. Johanna Alfreda Erickson of Edmonds, Mrs Rose Smith of Boise, Ida., Mr Fred Erickson of Portland, Mr. John Robert Erickson of Portland, Mrs. Emma Webb of Oregon City, and Mrs. Eva Naomi Smeade of Edmonds; also eighteen grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Feb. 6th, at the Edmonds Funeral Parlors, the writer being assisted by Mrs. Gertrude Woodford, Mrs. Delma Ingersol, and Miss Mary Forester. Burial was made in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at Edmonds. Words of comfort wer spoken from Psalm 88:10 and Isa. 26:19. LEE E. BAKER

ACCIDENT KILLS BOISE WOMAN
Mrs. Rose Smith, 65, Fatally Injured in Collision with Car
Mrs. Rose Smith, 65, of 2109 North Thirtieth street, was fatally injured at 7 p.m. Wednesday in a car-pedestrian accident at the intersection of Twenty-eighth and Gavin streets, Boise police reproted.
Mrs. Smith died of head injuries while en route to a Boise hospital in an ambulance, Ada County Coroner Clyde E. Summers said.
Her death is the third traffic fatality in the city of Boise this year.
According to an investigation conducted by Boise police and Summers, Mrs. Smith had alighted from a Boise Bus at the intersection and started to cross the street from behind the bus.
Police said she was hurring across the street. Mrs. Smith struck the side of an automobile driven by Kenneth P. Pond, 18, of route 4, Boise, just forward of the driver's door, the coroner said.
The woman, Summers said, was knocked backward to the pavement and suffered the fatal hurts in striking the pavement. Patrolmen Roger Tucker and Alvin Taylor who investigated said Pond's automobile stopped within 13 feet of the impact.
Pond was not held by police.
Mrs. Smith was born June 15, 1883, near Ontario, Ore., and had lived in Boise for 45 years. She was a member of the Baptist Temple church.
Surviving are three sons, William H. Smith and Alfred C. Smith, both of Boise, and Roy A. Smith, Santa Rosa, Cal.; two daughters, Mrs. Edith Phillips of Portland and Mrs. Emma Hansen of Boise; her mother, Mrs. Anna Erickson of Edmunds (Edmonds), Wash., 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers.
