Bridal Shower Gives Pleasure --
Mrs. G.P. Brown and her daughter Mrs. Vera Michels entertained 35 friends Thursday afternoon at Mrs. Brown's home on Broadway in honor of her niece, Mrs. Al Smith (nee Charlotte Carter, a recent bride.)
It was a "kitchen shower" for the bride, and was carried out in a very unique way, the Halloween idea being used. The gifts were placed in a large round basket which had been made to represent a pumpkin, and was presented to the bride by two little brownies, who drew the pumpkin into the room where she was on a little express wagon, the brownies were Paul Pusey and Junior Washamm in costume.
Yellow Chrysanthemums were the floral decorations used. Delicious refreshments were served by the hostess. Mrs. Smith is expecting to live in Boise.
