Lorraine Culver
Lorraine Culver, 68, of 3752 Clacton Way, Boise, died Friday Aug. 9, 1985, at home of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Cloverdale Funeral Home Chapel. Rev J. LeRoi Arroues of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Cloverdale Memorial Park.
Mrs. Culver, retired owner of a typewriter and shaver business, was born June 29, 1917, at Keytesville, Mo., a daughter of Edmond and Alice Moore Perkins, and was reared and educated in Keytesville. She married Leo Thomas Culver on Jan. 19, 1935 at Keytesville. They moved to Boise in 1953 and owned and operated Boise Typewriter Exchange and Lorraine's Shavers.
She was a member of the Good Sam Club, the First Baptist Church, and Rebekah Purity Lodge #67.
Lorraine was a talented seamstress who enjoyed handicrafts. She was very artistic; by utilizing the products of Mother Nature, such as weeds, she created many beautiful pictures. She was also a catfishing enthusiast.
Survivors include two sons, Tom L. Culver of Spokane, Wash., and Rich Culver of Boise; a daughter, Mrs. Shirl Lollar of Houston, Texas; her mother Alice Perkins in Missouri, two brothers, Elmo and Bill Perkins both in Missouri; two sisters, Ruby and Juanita,, both in Missouri; 10 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Her husband died Dec. 9, 1982. Her father, a brother and a sister also died earlier.
Pallbearers will be Fred and Steve Freeland, Dave Paull, Mike Roe, Leo Rock and Don Allen.
Honorary pallbearers will be Alfred Smith, Dick Ashcroft, George Miller, Henry Rink, John Hassen and Dick Corn.
The family suggests that memorials may be made in her name to the Salvation Army, c/o Mrs. Emily Reno, PO Box 1216, Boise, 83701.

   Marriage Information:

Alice married Leo Thomas CULVER, son of Emil Murden CULVER and Mary Malissa HARLESS, in 1934 in Keytesville, Chariton, MO. (Leo Thomas CULVER was born on 17 Nov 1915 in Holton, Jackson, Kansas and died on 9 Dec 1982 in Riviera, Arizona.) The cause of death was Heart Attack in a Nevada Casino.
